I thought I’d focus on a unique topic today that many of you guys can relate to. A lot of this stuff applies the other way around to girls as well…maybe not the reduced stress part, but you get the idea.
Having a girlfriend or significant other is actually quite beneficial to your health in several different ways, and we are going to cover a few reason why in this article.

Having a girlfriend can bring about feeling of posivitiy in your life. Not only does this boost your confidence around other people, it can also help you feel more in control of your life and the things going on around you.
We all know how it feels when your life seems out of control. The amount of stress that type of situation can bring on can be quite detrimental to your health.
Speaking of stress, having a girlfriend can also reduce stress levels. Who would have thought, right guys? Contrary to popular belief, having a partner in your life who you can trust and confide in is actually GOOD for you. We hear so much about high divorce rates and other relationship issues that it’s hard to push that stuff out of your mind when you think about dating someone. Always remember that your relationship with another person is a good as you want it to be. It takes work and focused dedication.
Having someone you can rely on to get you through difficult times is an awesome asset to have. If you’re having trouble at work or running into issues with a friend, it’s always beneficial to have a significant other who you can talk to and work through things with.
All three of these items play off of each other. If you are less stressed, you also tend to feel more secure and positive. Same goes for other combinations.
Don’t always go for the first person that’s open to dating you. Be selective, and dedicate yourself to someone who is ready to dedicate themselves to you.
For those of you who have been playing contact sports over the years you know that it can pose a major hazard to your oral health. For example, I have seen many players in the game of soccer who have lost teeth due to a poorly timed kick or head shot.
If you want to understand how to protect your teeth you need to think about what type of protection is available to you. I learned from my Ann Arbor Dentist a few tricks to help.In pretty much any sport, the obvious answer would be a mouth guard.
The other thing that can protect your teeth is good hygiene. For example flossing and brushing your teeth can help prevent plaque buildup. Plaque is the junk that eats away at the enamel on your teeth.
Over time, the enamel begins to wear away and makes the tooth much weaker than it used to be. This causes a major problem for athletes.
If you have weaker teeth you will be much more likely to have a tooth chip or break when you get hit. The strength of the tooth has been weakened through years of plaque eating away at that hard enamel.
I would highly recommend that you get your teeth checked out by a dentist at least once per year. Your dentist can tell you if you’re going to run into any problems in the near future.
You will usually have a regular check up and cleaning. This is often accompanied by a routine xray that is very quick and painless. Going to the dentist should not be something that you dread doing. It should be viewed as a simple way to protect your oral health and prevent any serious complications or injuries in the future.
The xray will help determine if there are any cracks in your teeth or any cause for concern regarding the health of your teeth. If you can spot a problem early it is much more likely that you will be able to prevent future injuries.

These are questions that ran through my mind when I was a basketball player in high school. I really struggled at times to compete with some of the guys I played against. This was especially true because I had to play center, and most of the guys who play center are huge. I was anything but huge.
During my senior year I tried to figure out how to jump higher. I thought that if I could at least improve my jumping ability I would be able to compete at a higher level and do more to help my team.
After a few months of jump training, I realized that I wasn’t really getting anywhere. I had designed my own program that I thought would help me improve my vertical leap, but at the end of a few months I had nothing to show for it. It wasn’t exactly the best vertical jump program on the market.
As you might imagine this was pretty disheartening. All of that work and no gains whatsoever.
So I decided to do a little searching on the net. I came across a program called the Jump Manual and decided to give it a try.
To make a long story short, I ended up gaining 10 inches on my vertical leap by the time my senior season started. People were amazed at how much my game had improved. Being able to jump isn’t everything in basketball, but it definitely gives you an advantage over a lot of the guys on the court.
I will say that doing the Jump Manual was not easy. I worked my butt off during the 3 months that I followed the program. That was probably one of my most intense summers in terms of working out and training. But it definitely paid off in the end.
